This residential community was once an industrial area. It's closely situated to Huguenot Park, the Jacksonville Zoo, and Jacksonville International Airport. This once sleepy town has transformed into a thriving living area with hip neighborhoods such as Oceanway and Yellowbluff. There is still plenty of acres available for sale, with developments that range from Mediterranean homes to ranch fixtures.
You're always 10 minutes away from the downtown area, which is bustling with its own entertainment and activities. That hasn't prevented the Northside from becoming a thriving rural area of its own. It's the perfect neighborhood for families, first-time homebuyers, and retirees.
Riverside
Riverside Avenue is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods you'll ever come across. You'll notice that the streets are decorated with brownstones, bungalows, Mediterranean villas, and oak trees. It's also just steps away from the downtown area so you're not without your share of entertainment. You can also relax at St. Johns River, which is perfect for retirees and families.
This neighborhood is also home to a wide variety of doctor's offices and St. Vincent's Medical Center. Riverside comes alive at night with its own array of bars, clubs, restaurants, and shops, which gives this neighborhood a hip vibe that's been attracting the younger crowd.
Southside

It has a wide variety of attractions and entertainment such as gated golf communities and restaurants. While traffic can get insane around the Baymeadows, San Jose, and Southside, it'll be well worth the trip.
San Marco
This is one of the hippest neighborhoods you'll ever come across in Jacksonville with its art community. It's also home to a dining and entertainment district that's close to the downtown area. You'll stroll among shops and restaurants that are situated along this Y-shaped intersection between Atlantic and San Marco Boulevard.
