Kick start your Spring Break in Jacksonville, FL with our fun Camp here at Jacksonville Humane Society!
Event Details
Children in grades 2-8 are invited to spend Spring Break with the animals at the Jacksonville Humane Society!
JHS Spring Break Campers will learn all about animal body language and behavior, try out some clicker training, make all kinds of fun enrichment items for the animals at JHS like treats and toys, help promote pets for adoption, plant catnip, and SO much more!
All campers will receive a certificate verifying 6 hours of volunteer service at the end of camp.
Dates and Times:
Wednesday, March 15, 2023 - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Thursday, March 16, 2023 - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Friday, March 17, 2023 - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Drop off is from 8:45 - 9:00 a.m. and pick up is from 4:00 - 4:15 p.m.
Extended care is available beginning at 7:45 a.m. and ending at 5:15 p.m. for an additional $20 flat fee with any enrollment.
Cost: $225
Snacks and Meals:
Campers must bring a lunch and a water bottle.
Box lunches from Jason's Deli will be available to purchase at checkout through Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
One snack will be provided to all campers each day of camp by SmartBox.
The Kona Ice truck will visit JHS during camp on Friday, March 17. If you would like your child to be able to purchase a shaved ice from the truck, please send them to camp with $3-$6 cash (depending on the size they would like to purchase).
