A premier art gallery and gathering place for artists and art enthusiasts
On January 18, 1924, twenty writers, painters, sculptors and photographers gathered to form an arts club. This group planted the seed for the blossoming of the largest art colony of the South during the 1930s-1950s. More than just a gallery, today the Art Association continues its long history of promoting the arts by offering classes, activities, festivals and exhibits.
