The mission of FLDA is to improve the prevention, diagnosis and successful treatment of Lyme and related vector borne disease through education of the public and healthcare providers. FLDA also supports tick-borne disease scientific research initiatives in Florida.
We are dedicated to spreading awareness about the complexities of tick-borne diseases (including Lyme Disease), funding research, and advocacy.
Effective January 2014, Florida Lyme Disease Association united with Northeast Florida Lyme Association to take a state-wide role in Lyme Disease education, advocacy, research, and support.
