Deck The Chairs

Jacksonville Beach Deck The Chairs (JBDTC) is an annual lighted sculptural exhibit using the iconic red chairs of The American Red Cross Life Saving Corps. Free and open to the public, the creative light display and children’s programs are developed through months of preparation and help promote community pride. The event fosters private and public relationships, and benefits area merchants during a traditionally slow period for business. Ultimately JBDTC provides a “family-friendly” downtown experience during the holidays with net proceeds benefiting the historic Jacksonville Beach Life Saving Corps.
